We meet the second Saturday of each month, September through June, at the Marjorie Webster House on the campus of Lowell School, 1640 Kalmia Road, NW, Washington DC. Meeting at 10:00; coffee hour begins at noon.

The Guild is an educational group that welcomes new members interested in exploring the fiber arts with emphasis on weaving. Members are not required to have any level of expertise, only a desire to learn and share.
At our monthly meeting (second Saturday September - June) we usually have a hands-on mini-workshop for a small fee. Come and learn something new about weaving, dyeing, knitting, crochet, beading or some other aspect of fiber art.
At noon there is a lunch/social hour.
Bring a sandwich; we provide beverages and some members bring desserts. A library of fiber art books is open to members noon 'til 1.
Experts in various aspects of fiber arts present programs at the afternoon meeting. These may be nationally recognized artists or one of our own talented members, some of whom have work displayed in galleries and/or museums.
We sponsor 3 to 4 major workshops a year which last 2-3 days and offer in-depth exploration of fiber techniques.
Members receive a newsletter announcing upcoming programs as well as other fiber events in the mid-Atlantic area. They also receive reduced prices for equipment rental, minis and regular workshops; and may join a study group.
Membership information: 301-498-8019.
